In this episode we discuss what we want to see happen in the last books of the Wheel of Time. Marco and I first met discussing Wheel of Time on the Hall of Servants group on librarything.com . One of the discussions we had there when Brandon Sanderson was announced as the author who would complete the series was a discussion on what we thought would happen in the last book. We decided to revisit that discussion and see how are thoughts have evolved in the year since we had that discussion and What the fact that we will have 3 books instead of one did to our predictions.

I’m looking forward to Matt & Tuon announcing their marriage to any of the Emmonds Field people – THAT will be a shocker. Plus I think Tuon takes a bit of getting used to and that whole experience will be lots of fun to read about.
I also want those reunions you mentioned, but I’m focused on the minor characters more. Aren’t many of the Emmonds Fielders with Perrin? I’m thinking specifically of Mat’s and Rand’s dads – their reunions w/ their sons will be … difficult, to say the least.
Great job guys – can’t wait for the next one!
Tuon and the Emmonds Fielders will definitely be fun.
I think Tam is with Perrin, don’t think Mats dad was mentioned as being with them. I’m definitely looking forward to Tam and Rand as well.
My theory on the “too young Sitters” is a little out there, but I believe that, like the Black Ajah, there is another secret Ajah that is involved in both sides. A “purple” Ajah, I’ve heard them called, though I believe they are a secret Ajah that is on the side of the Light, whose sole purpose is to counter the Black Ajah. Maybe they have their own oaths, which may cause them to be undetectable.
@Jemron I have never been a fan of the Purple Ajah thing. I dont know, it seems a little weird to have secret Ajahs that no one knows about. Everyone knows about the Black, even if no one acknowledges it earlier on. How is it that no Aes Sedai, even in the many POV’s we have had from Siuan, Sheriam, Maoirraine, Romanda, Beonin, Elaida and all the various blacks, that none of them has even given a thought to a secret Ajah?
Yeah, good point. However, the “purple ajah” might only be made up of a very few, highly placed individuals. It is possible, though unlikely, that we just haven’t seen a POV of any of them.
I do think that Sheriam’s beatings must have something to do with the too young Sitters theory, even if there is no other secret ajah involved. Could it be another plan of the DO? Or is the too young Sitters something else entirely? It’s definitely possible that the Black Ajah is somehow behind it… Though I don’t get the purpose just yet.
I believe in the theory that Sheriam was turned to the “dark side” by 13 myrdraal and 13 Black sisters, and that her involvement has something to do with all this for sure… But then again, why would she need to be beaten if she’s been turned? I just hope that we do see somebody at some stage get turned against their will. RJ talks about it in almost every book, so it must be significant, right?
Hey guys,
Great episode!
Quick question, you guys touched on the fact that you wanted a decent climax from TGS. If you had to pick one potential climax what would you most want to see? You can only choose one!
Hey bud,
For my money the final climax should be Egwene reuniting the Tower under a Seanchan attack. Epic damane vs Aes Sedai battle…Deathwatch vs Gaidin. Awesome.
Wow thats a tough question. Im hoping for a Rand al’Thor climactic scene. If hes at the White Tower when the Seanchan attack great, otherwise Id rather have something which is Rand focused.
