We are indeed planning to do an insert on the Prologue and Chapter 1 of tGS, probably just before the release of the book. I think at the time that I read the prologue of the EotW (I was like 14) I didn't get it, and thought it was boring. After 3 months, I finally got to the scenes where Rand was attacked by the Trollocs. Then I read it in a matter of days. Now, I think the prologue is the best scene in the entire series. And the Winternight attack is not even rated in my top 10. Still a great scene though. That's when the story picks up, and I couldn't put the book down after that. Thanks guys! Just curious; are you going to talk about the Prologue of the Gathering Storm, or Chapter one in a future podcast (before the release of TGS)? That would be cool. Cheers!
