We are indeed planning to do an insert on the Prologue and Chapter 1 of tGS, probably just before the release of the book. It is funny how some scenes wax and wane on re-reads and I agree with you on winternight being the point in the EotW where things took off.</description>

		<description>I agree with everything you guys said.  I think at the time that I read the prologue of the EotW (I was like 14) I didn&#039;t get it, and thought it was boring.  After 3 months, I finally got to the scenes where Rand was attacked by the Trollocs.  Then I read it in a matter of days.  Now, I think the prologue is the best scene in the entire series.  And the Winternight attack is not even rated in my top 10.  Still a great scene though.  That&#039;s when the story picks up, and I couldn&#039;t put the book down after that.

Thanks guys!  Just curious; are you going to talk about the Prologue of the Gathering Storm, or Chapter one in a future podcast (before the release of TGS)?  That would be cool.
